MasterChef & Hells Kitchen Contestant Opens New Restaurant In San Diego's North County

Chef Lauren Lawless, who previously was a contestant on Fox's MasterChef and is currently competing on the latest season of Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, has opened a restaurant in San Diego's North County. 

As a TV personality, San Diego resident Lauren Lawless has appeared on shows such as MasterChef, Travel Channel's Best in Food and Food Network's Supermarket Stakeout, where she won the grand prize of Supermarket Stakeout champion. Lawless is also competing on the current season of Gordon Ramsay's Hell’s Kitchen on FOX, which premiered earlier this month. She also just recently released her first cookbook called Flawless Cuisine: Inspiring The World One Plate at a Time. Last fall, Chef Lawless teamed up with HGTV "Flip or Flop" star Steve Cederquist to launch the Flawless Cuisine Food Truck, but she has since decided to focus her time on her brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Flawless Bistro is an American comfort food concept now open at Boulder Oaks Golf Club in San Diego's North County community of Escondido. Expect a menu featuring burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and dinner options such as pot pie, lasagna, fish and chips and more. Many of the dishes on the menu are from Chef Lauren's new cookbook. The restaurant has outdoor dining options with heat lamps. Lauren is also working with a brewery in Escondido and will be opening a restaurant for them in the next few months.
