Isabella Artisan Pizzeria & Craft Beer Garden Relocating From BayHo To Clairemont With Onsite Tasting Room In Partnership With Little Miss Brewing

February 25, 2021

Isabella Artisan Pizzeria is in the process of relocating from BayHo to Clairemont Town Center, and in addition to a full restaurant, the space will serve as a tasting room for San Diego's Little Miss Brewing.

Gary Zendell entered the local culinary world operating Sausage Bomb Sandwich from a hotdog cart in Pacific Beach before opening Isabella Artisan Pizzeria in BayHo in summer 2013. After 7 years in business within the retail plaza perched above BayHo, Zendell is moving his Italian restaurant to the space that last housed Enzo's Cucina Italiana in Clairemont Town Center.

The new Isabella restaurant is expected to open by April 1. The eatery will feature a cozier interior than the original location but will still have a family and pet-friendly patio space. The bar has also gone exclusive with a "handshake partnership" with Little Miss Brewing as the beer provider and will act as a craft beer tasting room for the Miramar-based craft brewery. Like the original location, Isabella will serve artisan pizza and Italian fare made with Neapolitan ingredients imported straight from Italy, including fresh mozzarella ovalinis in spring water, San Marzano tomatoes, and Caputo flour directly from Naples.

IsaBella Artisan Pizzeria will open this spring at 4705 Clairemont Drive, Suite A, in San Diego's Clairemont neighborhood. For more information, visit isabellapizzeria.com and check out the food menu below.
