San Francisco-Based Ike's Love & Sandwiches To Launch 6th Area Location In San Diego's Sorrento Valley

March 29, 2022

The sixth area location of popular San Francisco-based eatery Ike's Love and Sandwiches will open later this year in San Diego's North County community of Sorrento Valley.

Ike's Place (now known as Ike's Love and Sandwiches) is the creation of Ike Shehadeh, who first launched his namesake sandwich shop in San Francisco in 2007 and now has more than 55 locations around California and Arizona. Widely known for its famed "Dirty Secret Sauce" and Dutch Crunch bread, Ike's first entered San Diego in fall 2015 with the opening of its 1,100 square-foot fast-casual eatery within The Hub retail shopping center in Hillcrest. In fall 2018, a second San Diego Ike's opened in the Midway District of Point Loma and the brand has since touched down in the heart of San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter and within Del Mar Highlands Town Center. There is also a location opening soon in Poway.

The sixth San Diego location of Ike's will open in a the space that last housed Which Wich adjacent to Keg N Bottle within a shopping center in Sorrento Valley. Ike's offers a huge menu of cheeky and celebrity-named sandwiches on freshly baked bread, as well as a rumored list of over 400 "secret" sandwich possibilities.

Ike's Love and Sandwiches is anticipated to open by year's end at 9430 Scranton Road, Suite #104, in San Diego's Sorrento Valley community. For more information, visit loveandsandwiches.com.
