July 9, 2022

Comic-Con International returns to San Diego in full force after a two-year hiatus, and this year filmmaker Kevin Smith's fictional Mooby's fast food restaurant will pop-up in the Gaslamp Quarter.

As part of this year's Comic-Con International, taking over downtown San Diego this July 21-24, there will be a multitude of pop-culture food pop-ups sited around the Gaslamp Quarter. This year's event will include a version of Mooby's, a fictional fast food restaurant created by Kevin Smith that is featured throughout his View Askewniverse films, most notably in the films Dogma and Clerks II.

The Mooby's pop-up will take over Tin Roof restaurant in San Diego's Gaslamp. Guests can make a reservation for $30 per person, which includes a Mooby's Meal with selections of a Moo main dish like the Cow Tipper burger or the Half-Calf Unreal Cheesesteak and Salt Lick side item (vegan & non vegan options available). Mooby's sodas, Mooby's Chronic Con beer, additional salt lick side items, desserts, AS and merchandise will also be available.

Mooby's at Tin Roof takes place at 401 G Street in San Diego's Gaslamp. For more information, visit moobyspopup.com.
