Los Angeles-based Mendocino Farms Sandwich Market will unveil the company's seventh San Diego restaurant later this year in the North County community of 4S Ranch.
Mendocino Farms was founded in Los Angeles in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Mario Del Pero and Ellen Chen. The sandwich and salad shop, which is heavily backed by Whole Foods Market, now has nearly 40 locations spread throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. The menu at Mendocino Farms is centered around seasonal, chef-driven gourmet sandwiches and creative salads.
After a successful San Diego debut with the opening of the first area location in The Shops in La Jolla Village in late 2016, Mendocino Farms has opened other area branches in Del Mar Highlands Town Center, The Square at Bressi Ranch in Carlsbad, downtown San Diego, Westfield Mission Valley and within Camino Village Plaza in Encinitas. The newest location is expected to unveil next year at Regency Centers' 4S Commons Town Center.
Mendocino Farms is expected to open in early 2023 at 10562 Craftsman Way in San Diego's North County community of 4S Ranch. For more information, visit mendocinofarms.com.
