Graze Craze Brings Customizable "Charcuterie Boards For Any Occassion" To San Diego With Opening Of First California Location

March 20, 2023

A growing Oklahoma-based franchise specializing in customizable charcuterie boards, Graze Craze has opened its first California location in San Diego and already has a second branch in the works for La Jolla.

Originally founded in Oklahoma in April 2020 by US Air Force veteran Kerry Sylvester, Graze Craze sells artfully designed, hand-crafted charcuterie boards and boxes featuring high-quality foods like gourmet meats, cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal sweets and more. The unique menu features several grazing options fit for any occasion and lifestyle. Last year, United Franchise Group bought a majority stake in Graze Craze’s new franchising arm and began selling units in June 2021.

The first San Diego location of Graze Craze has opened within College Plaza in Chula Vista’s Eastlake area. A second area location will open later this year on the base floor of La Jolla Seaview apartment building at 5691 La Jolla Boulevard in San Diego's quaint beachside community of Bird Rock. Based on the success of the first two shops, more San Diego locations are anticipated to open in coming years.

At Graze Craze, each charcuterie board is curated by a Grazologist, the customer's very own charcuterie concierge, with several different size options from single boxes for the lone grazer, to large boards arranged to create a grazing table with enough fresh food to feed a large wedding party or holiday happy hour for hundreds. With the slogans "celebrate everything" and "charcuterie boards for any occasion," Graze Craze offers boards for every diet, including vegetarian and keto-inspired platters. Prices vary by market. In California, a large board that feeds 10 people sells for around $185. The company also plans to add a private label Graze Craze wine that customers can add to their boards.

San Diego's first Graze Craze is now open at 931 Otay Lakes Road in the South County city of Chula Vista. For more information, visit grazecraze.com.
