Between Us Farm-To-Table Restaurant & Tapas Bar Moving Into Longtime Rip Current Brewing Space In San Diego's North Park

The owner of Thai Time restaurant have taken over the unit that long housed Rip Current Brewing in San Diego's North Park for the opening of Between Us, an all-day farm-to-table eatery and neighborhood tapas bar. 

Thai Time restaurant was founded on 30th Street in San Diego's North Park community in 2006, and the restaurant has been operated by Chanchai Ratananon since 2011. Ratananon recently leased the space directly across the street from Thai Time, which previously housed Rip Current Brewing from 2015 until the craft brewery closed at the end of 2023.

Named Between Us, the incoming restaurant will be a farm-to-table concept, offering a delectable brunch menu crafted from fresh ingredients sourced from local farms in San Diego and Southern California. As the day progresses, the eatery's ambiance will transition to a cozy taproom and bar, where they will serve an array of tapas and small plates paired with local brews from the area's vibrant brewing community.
