Green Flash Brewing Co. Unveils Plans For Rare, Barrel-Aged Beer Series And New Poway Tasting Room

Today, Co-Founders of Green Flash Brewing Co, Mike and Lisa Hinkley, officially announce plans for the national debut of Cellar 3, a series of rare, barrel-aged beer offerings and the expansion to a 2nd San Diego facility in Poway. After announcing the 2015 Hop Odyssey lineup of hop-focused session IPAs last week, Green Flash Cellar 3 offers consumers a taste from the opposite end of the craft spectrum with a lineup of elevated, limited reserve offerings that will round out the national Green Flash portfolio. With construction of the Cellar 3 packaging facility now complete, Green Flash will roll out the series to retailers beginning in April, and plans to open a public tasting room later this spring.

On Saturday, February 28, Herringbone La Jolla will partner with AleSmith Brewing Company for the second Ales & Acoustics monthly event of 2015. From 2-6pm, the back bar and lounge area will offer a flight of four beer selections on tap from AleSmith Brewing Company along with the midday menu featuring their signature flatbreads and fresh salads. Also joining the event are local artists Omar Velasco at 2pm and guitarist Dusty Brough at 4pm.
