On Saturday, February 28, Herringbone La Jolla will partner with AleSmith Brewing Company for the second Ales & Acoustics monthly event of 2015. From 2-6pm, the back bar and lounge area will offer a flight of four beer selections on tap from AleSmith Brewing Company along with the midday menu featuring their signature flatbreads and fresh salads. Also joining the event are local artists Omar Velasco at 2pm and guitarist Dusty Brough at 4pm.

Since it opened, The Del has been a hot spot for celebs staying in San Diego - most notably with the filming of "Some Like It Hot” that debuted in 1959. Flash forward to 2015 and The Del is celebrating it’s Hollywood connection with a bevy of Oscar-inspired cocktails on February 22 served at Babcock & Story bar.

On Saturday, February 21, Deckman’s en el Mogor in Valle de Guadalupe will be hosting another intimate dining experience. For $100 (USD), guests will be able to dine on a five-course meal featuring sustainable Baja ingredients with a strong focus on sustainable fisheries. The feast begins with a cocktail reception at 6:30pm and the exclusive 40-person beverage pairing dinner will begin at 7:15pm. In addition to Chef Drew Deckman, the dinner will be hosted by an array of impressive guest chefs, including Chef Rob Ruiz of San Diego's Land & Water Co.

This March, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation San Diego Chapter is once again teaming up with The Commons for the organization’s annual, nationwide Shave-A-Thon, celebrating the event’s seventh and most anticipated year yet. San Diegans will converge on the downtown hotspot on Saturday, March 7, to shave their heads in the name of generating awareness, funding research for childhood cancer, and continuing to help survivors live long and healthy lives.

On Thursday, February 26, OB Warehouse’s Chef de Cuisine, Elias Gonzales, is hosting the beachside eatery’s debut beer dinner through a creative five-course collaboration with Stone Brewing Co. and lead brewer Jeremy Moynier. In the following week, Tuesday, March 3, Executive Chef Tim Kolanko (Stake Chophouse & Bar, Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge) welcomes The Fishery’s Executive Chef Paul Arias and Greg Hess of San Diego’s Hess Brewing into his kitchen at Leroy’s in Coronado for a suds & seafood centric installment of his monthly “Cooking With Friends” dinner series.

The Lost Abbey is releasing this year's version of the Lent-inspired Brett Saison - Carnevale - and in celebration, the brewery is hosting the 8th Annual Masquerade di Lost Abbey in San Marcos on Saturday, February 21 from 7-11pm. For the first time, this Carnevale release will be a ticketed event featuring live music from The Professors and food from Grill Fellas.

Puesto is bringing Baja craft beer across the border for a one-night special beer dinner on February 19 at 7:30pm at The Headquarters location. Puesto and Agua Mala Cerveza Artesanal, from Tijuana, have created a six-course dinner featuring a showcase of items from Puesto’s chef including a duck carnitas and chocolate sauce taco, and vegetable curtido taco and beers from this up-and-coming Baja brewery, including specialty beers not available at their tasting room in Mexico. This is the first paired dinner open to the public by Puesto.
