Popular San Diego waterfront restaurants The Fish Market and it's second story, upscale eatery Top of the Market, are closed today after well over $1 million in damage was caused by a grease fire that took place on Wednesday, May 26, at approximately 6:15pm. The grease fire started in the kitchen hood vent system and about 150 patrons and 75 employees were in the restaurant at the time, although there are no reported injuries.
