San Diego Restaurant Week Returns For 11th Year Of Multi-Course Meals From September 20-27
The most delicious week of the year returns to America's Finest City this September! For one week only, from September 20-27, San Diego Restaurant Week will celebrate local dining by partnering with over 180 participating restaurants who will showcase their top dishes on lunch and dinner multi-course, prix-fixe menus. New this year, as a special preview of SDRW, on Saturday, September 12, from 12pm to 3pm, the San Diego Restaurant Week Launch Party will gather a selection of participating restaurants at Go Green Agriculture in Encinitas and welcome a very limited number of guests and media to sample locally inspired offerings.

The San Diego Padres will host the first ever officially sanctioned Pride Night at Petco Park on Tuesday, September 1 when the Padres take on the Texas Rangers at 7:10pm. The first 1,000 fans to purchase Pride Night tickets will receive a limited edition Pride-themed Padres hat. Rich in history, the Florentine style building was built all the way back in 1874 and served as City Hall from the 1890's to 1938. Now, the old City Hall building is home to a few of San Diego's hot spots. We were recently invited to experience the fresh menu creations of the establishment's new executive chef Brad Hightow and indulged in a delicious and inspiring five course meal.

Shelter Island’s iconic bayside property - Humphreys - today announced the appointment of Nicolas Bour to the position of executive chef of Humphreys Restaurant, Humphreys Backstage Live and Humphreys Half Moon Inn & Suites. The role of executive chef at Humphreys was previously held for 13 years by Paul Murphy, who is moving into a new role with US Foods. The silver-tongued toque was loved for his ability to juggle multiple roles, all with good humor and for his adaptation of modern global cuisine.
