Four Mission Valley Craft Beer & Food Festivals, two New Kids on the Block Craft Beer events, the San Diego Salutes Tommy Gomes party, the 5 Chef Societe dinners...all successes resulting from the labor of love of both Chef Karl Prohaska and event coordinator Gus Thompson, who each effectively departed Handlery this week. At this point, no one knows what shall come next for this dynamic duo, but one thing is for sure, any San Diego business will be lucky to have them.

Chef Ryan Studebaker recently departed from his role as Executive Chef at the struggling Encore Champagne Bar & Dining Room (which is currently undergoing a dining room revamp) and has already landed a new gig as executive chef of A Miho Experience, the company which operates Miho Gastrotruck, Stand & Deliver street cart and The Vetted Table catering company. Studebaker replaces Chef Rocio Siso Gurriaran, who is joining Chef Jason Knibb at NINE-TEN, coincidentally where Chef Studebaker's wife Rachel King is the pastry chef.
