A branch of San Diego-born brunch chain Broken Yold Cafe, an ice cream behemoth, a North County Diner, and several taquerias top this week’s list of 14 San Diego County restaurants and food facilities temporarily closed or downgraded following health inspections from September 11 - September 17, 2026.

The San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality performs thousands of inspections annually to ensure that food establishments adhere to necessary safety standards.
