The Fish Shop brand has been trying to keep up with customer demand as its original location has been packing them in since first dropping anchor in Pacific Beach in 2010. Located on South Coast Highway 101, Encinitas Fish Shop can’t be missed when driving down the 101.

To celebrate National Oyster Day on Tuesday, August 5th, Executive Chef Jason McLeod welcomes five of the area's most notable chefs to join him and take a turn behind the raw bar for an epic oyster shucking competition from 5pm-10pm. For those who like it raw, Ironside Fish & Oyster will be serving up Baja's famed Kumiai Oysters donated by Farm Fresh Shellfish for just a buck apiece during the competition. La Jolla Strip Club Shutters | Cohn Restaurant Group's Northern Grill-Your-Own Steak Concept Is, Well, Done

The Cohn Restaurant Group took to social media today to announce the permanent closure of grill-your-own-steakhouse, La Jolla Strip Club, which opened in December 2009. Based on the graphic posted, the space located at 4282 Esplanade Court in UTC will be used for an unannounced replacement restaurant concept by the Cohn Group. Gaslamp Strip Club remains open.

In their continuing efforts to help find a cure for all childhood cancers, the Miller family and friends will host their 9th Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand Grand Stand on Saturday, July 26, from 10am to 6pm, at 3366 Adams Avenue in Normal Heights (The Masonic Lodge Parking Lot). The Miller Family Grand Stand will be held in memory of Stephen Thomas, a San Diego resident who bravely fought rhabdomyosarcoma, a form of childhood cancer, losing his life to the disease at just 15 years of age.
