San Diego Restaurants Closures & Downgrades This Week (October 9 - October 15) Due To County Health Department Inspections

A trendy Little Italy cocktail bar and restaurant, a well-known San Diego coffee chain, a national diner franchise, a North Couny resort dining facility, and several other restaurants and eateries across San Diego County are among the 21 food establishments ordered temporarily closed or downgraded following health inspections from October 9 through October 15, 2026.

The San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality performs thousands of inspections annually to ensure that food establishments adhere to necessary safety standards. When inspectors identify critical violations, they issue closure notices, mandating that businesses resolve the issues before they can reopen, as well as reduce the health grade of some establishments.
