Java Joe's has been a San Diego staple for 25 years. Known as a launchpad for the musical careers of such artists as Jason Mraz and Jewel, Java Joe's has operated out of a half dozen location over its more than two decades in America's Finest City. Most recently on Adams Avenue in Normal Heights, the famed coffee-house-turned-music-venue will reopen at its new home at 2611 Congress Street in Old Town this week.
