Now open in the 2-story building that last housed OB Garden Café in San Diego's Ocean Beach neighborhood is the fifth location of Harumama, a kitschy Japanese restaurant concept known for its Instagram-famous, animal-shaped buns.
Harumama's fifth location is now open in the 2,450 square-foot space that last housed Ocean Beach People's Organic Food Market's bi-level OB Garden Café, which shuttered in September 2019. Designed by Executive Chef James Pyo, the food menu will include a bunch of eclectic ramen noodle soup varieties, as well as sushi rolls, steamed character sticky buns, and homemade dumplings. The eatery will also serve an array of appetizers, salads, poke bowls and possibly sushi like the La Jolla location. From the bar, expect craft beer, wine, soju and sake. Harumama's newest location will have a first floor dining room and patio with a rooftop deck.
Harumama Noodles, Buns + Sushi is now open at 4741 Voltaire Street in Ocean Beach. For more information, visit harumamasd.com and check out the menu below.
