Earlier this year, San Diego's Cohn Restaurant Group (Coasterra, Corvette Diner, The Prado) purchased the 5,485 square foot, 1950s-era building and adjacent lot that last housed Junk House Gastropub in East Mission Valley and initially used it as a commissary kitchen for the company's 20+ restaurants. The space is now in the process of being transformed into a second incarnation of Coaster Saloon, a Mission Beach mainstay that the Cohn's purchased in summer 2017.
