We announced in late 2017 that the husband-and-wife powerhouse behind Oceanside's rockstar sushi destination Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub was in the process of seeking a location to open The Plot, a plant-based, no-waste restaurant and catering service. Well the dynamic duo has finally found the ideal spot and will open their all-vegan eatery in the 4,000 square-foot South Oceanside space that currently houses Hon Sushi.

Consortium Holdings is in for a busy 2019, with a brunch-focused restaurant near completion in Little Italy and a 19th story cocktail lounge set to unveil later this year at downtown's InterContinental Hotel. We have also received word that the rapidly-expanding company is opening a sandwich shop, Negroni Bar, and Modern Times-partnered coffee house in the East Village, as well as revamping its 12-year-old Neighborhood bar & restaurant.
